Abstract
We report a solvent-free synthesis of novel 1,3,4,5-tetrasubstituted pyrazoles and investigate their inhibitory activity against soybean 15-lipoxygenase. It was revealed that all synthesized compounds exhibited good activity, and among them, 3-(furan-2-yl)-1,4,5-triphenyl-1H-pyrazole (5j) showed 10 times stronger inhibitory activity in comparison to the reference drug quercetin. © 2016, Verlag der Zeitschrift fur Naturforschung.
