Abstract

Today, despite advances in medicine, intestinal parasites are still widespread worldwide. This study was performed to investigate the frequency of various intestinal parasites in the Meybod Imam Jafar Sadegh Hospital. In this study, the records of patients were reviewed and data was entered into SPSS (version 22) and analyzed. Only four patients had a positive result. The results also showed that the age group of 1-10 years had the most suspicious referrals. Most of the referrals were men. The highest number of referrals was related to spring and autumn. It can be concluded that in spring and autumn, due to the season and the nature of the food of these seasons, some symptoms including stomach ache and diarrhea caused hospitalization. © 2021 Health Biotechnology And Biopharma.
