Abstract
Statistical methods have always been the solution to medical problems. Due to the problem of inconsistency in the diagnosis of dentists, statistical science has been provided for measuring the compatibility of diagnosis and reliability of dentists. One of the most important statistical methods for examining the agreement between the two experiments or diagnoses is Kappa statistics which can be used in dental sciences. The present study reviewed different types of Kappa statistics for assessing agreement, including Cohen's kappa, Fleiss' kappa, and Cohen's weighted kappa. © 2023 The Author(s).
