Abstract

One of Allameh Tabatabai’s significant innovations in the philosophy is derivative Perceptions Theory. In this theory, he has classified the derivative perceptions into three categories: the quality of the emerging of derivative sciences by human being, the quality of the origination of multiplicity in the sciences and the quality of the relationship between derivative sciences and real and true effects. Epistemologically, this theory can affect profoundly many issues in several sciences, or at least it is supposed to have such impacts on some areas. As far as effectiveness is concerned, the theory can be compared to or at least be considered close to Mollasadra’s Theory of substantial movement. This paper attempts to explain the impacts of this theory on different sciences, it briefly explains the impacts of derivative perceptions theory on philosophy and ethics. Some critics about these impacts are also addressed in the paper.
